Victim's Bill of Rights


  1. Survivors shall be notified of their options to notify law enforcement and campus authorities, which includes the option not to notify such authorities.
  2. Accuser and accused must have the same opportunity to have others present.
  3. Both parties shall be informed of the outcome of any disciplinary proceeding.
  4. Survivors shall be notified of counseling services.
  5. Survivors shall be notified of options for changing academic and living situations. When a student or employee reports that they have been a victim of dating violence, domestic violence, sexual assault or stalking, whether on or off campus, the university will provide a written explanation of the student’s or employee’s rights and options.
