Victim Advocates
Our Victim Advocates are available as a confidential resource to students who have experienced sexual violence. They provide students with resources, additional reporting options, assistance in reporting, and support for students during a SANE exam.
To reach a Victim Advocate, call or text 405-564-2129. You can also email advocate@okstate.edu. Victim advocates are available 24/7. A community 24 hour help line is also available through Wings of Hope at 405-624-3020.
Confidential Reporting
The university treats the Victim Advocates as a confidential reporting option. They provide students with the ability to confidentially share and discuss an instance of sexual violence, without their information being shared with others. They are not required to report any information about an incident to the Title IX Coordinator without a victim’s permission; however, the victim advocate will report incidents, without including personally identifiable information, to OSU Police for the purpose of the Clery Act.
